ATTENTION! ANNUAL DUES need to be paid by June 30, 2016
1 ANNUAL DUES NEEDED NOW
According to our Homeowner Bylaws, “the fiscal year of the Association shall begin in the first day of June and end on the 31st day of May of every year.” Therefore, your annual Homeowner fee, $125.00 per property, is due
by June 30th.
According to Article XII of our By Laws: “Any assessments which are not paid when due shall be delinquent. If the assessment is not paid with-in thirty (30) days after the due date, the assessment shall bear interest from the date of delinquency at the rate of ten percent (10%) per annum, and the Association may bring an action at law against the owner personally obligated to pay the same or foreclose the lien against the property, and interest, costs, and reasonable attorney fees of any such action shall be added to the amount of such assessment.”
Please avoid the potential for a lien against your property and submit your payment to the Treasurer, Joanie Peterson, before June 30th. You have three methods by which to submit your dues:
1) Mail check to TREASURER – WWHOA, PO Box 125, Blue Springs, Missouri, 64013.
2) Mail check or cash or hand deliver directly to the Treasurer: Joanie Peterson – 1521 NW 18th Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015.
3) Pay on the website: https://weatherstonewest.com/
YOU MUST LOG-IN and create your password. Follow the instructions on main page.
Once, Logged in – Go to the radio TAB on the left side of the main page and chose COMMUNITY SERVICES. Click on PAY DUES. You may then use PAY PAL to make your payment.
2 SELECTION OF OFFICERS/ BOARD MEMBERS

TWO of our officers have, for personal reasons had to resign before the end of the term. Below are the two open positions and may be appointed by the Board/President, Lee Miller, with expressed interest, to fill the remainder of the term. New Board members will be nominated at the Annual Meeting.
Please consider being a Board Member and assisting the remaining officers in maintaining the Association. We need your help and your representation would be most appreciated. Please submit inquiries on the webpage, https://weatherstonewest.com/ under the CONTACT radio tab on the home page.
Here are the descriptions of the TWO OPEN POSITIONS:
The Vice-President: Shall act in the place of the President in the event of his/her absence, inability or refusal to act, and shall exercise and discharge such other duties as may be required by him/her by the Board.
The Secretary: Shall record the votes and keep the minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the Board and the members; keep the corporate seal of the Association and affix it on all papers requiring said seal; serve notice of meetings if the Board ad of the members; keep appropriate current records showing the members of the Association together with their addresses, and shall perform such other duties as required by the Board.
3 ANNUAL MEETING
According to By Laws, the Annual Meeting will be held “prior to and as close to the beginning date of the Association’s fiscal year, which begins on June 1.” The Annual Meeting is being held this year on Saturday May 28th at 10 am at the Treasurers home, 1521 NW 18th Street, Blue Springs MO. An agenda is included in this mailing.
4 NEW HOMEOWNERS
Thank you for making this such a beautiful, safe, attractive neighborhood. We have had new homeowners move in this year, and more ahead with the sales of homes in the neighborhood – so please greet them!
